Delaware County & the Main Line

Our cars are based in Prospect Park, which puts Delaware County outside our own front door and the Main Line a straight run up the Blue Route. This is not a territory we expanded into. It is the one we start every morning in, and it shows in the small things — knowing which estate drives a Sprinter can actually turn around in, which State Street loading zones are free on a Saturday, and how much earlier a Villanova pickup has to leave than a Swarthmore one to catch the same flight.

South Philadelphia

South Philadelphia is the hardest place in the region to drive well and the easiest to drive badly. The streets below Washington Avenue were laid out for horses, half of them are one-way with cars parked on both sides, and on an Eagles Sunday the whole Broad Street corridor stops moving. None of that is a surprise to us. We plan the block, not just the address — because the difference between a good ride here and a bad one is knowing which corner the car can actually wait on.

Northwest Philadelphia

Northwest Philadelphia does not drive like the rest of the city. Germantown Avenue is cobblestone through Chestnut Hill, Manayunk is built on a hill with one-way streets that were never meant for a 12-passenger van, and Lincoln Drive is a two-lane road with bends and no shoulder that is genuinely slower than any map claims. It is also the prettiest corner of the city to get married in. Both of those things are true at once, and planning around the second one is the whole job.

Northeast Philadelphia

After the narrow blocks of South Philadelphia and the hills of Manayunk, the Northeast is a relief to drive. The streets are postwar and wide, houses have driveways, and the banquet halls have real parking lots — which means for once the vehicle can pull up properly and the arrival can be staged the way it should be. The two things that actually catch people out here are Roosevelt Boulevard, which is a genuine navigation hazard, and the distance to the airport.

North Philadelphia & the River Wards

This is the part of the city with the widest gap between the pickup and the destination. A wedding here often starts on a narrow rowhouse block in Fishtown or Fairhill and finishes at one of the biggest ballrooms in Philadelphia, ten minutes away in Northern Liberties. Those two ends need completely different handling — one is a question of whether the vehicle physically fits down the street, the other is a question of coordinating with a valet stand that is already running. We plan for both.

West Philadelphia & University City

University City is the one part of our territory where almost every ride is tied to something with a fixed time — a train, a surgery, a lecture, a board meeting. Penn, Drexel, CHOP, Penn Medicine, 30th Street Station and the towers around Schuylkill Yards make it the city's second downtown, and the transport it needs is precise rather than showy. The details that matter here are unglamorous: which level of 30th Street you want, which hospital entrance is the patient pickup, and which campus streets a car is allowed on this week.
